tararam – the South Africa Israel Culture Fund, has been established to facilitate, propagate and promote cultural exchange and awareness between South Africa and Israel. tararam’s goal is to help bring exposure to the vitality and dynamism of Israeli cultural and artistic life to South African audiences, by supporting the artistic output of both South Africans and Israelis. At the same time, we strive to showcase, share and contribute both South African and Israeli talents in order to foster understanding and a keener interest in one another’s talents.

tararam has been set up with the generous and anonymous sponsorship of a South African businessman, having been initiated by the Embassy of Israel in Pretoria.
